Spend your lunch reading aloud
Everybody Wins! South Florida takes volunteers into elementary schools and matches them one-on-one with second and third graders. The volunteers read aloud with their student during one lunch hour each week. This lunchtime literacy and mentoring program is beneficial for the students and rewarding for the volunteers, while fitting into even the busiest schedule. If your workplace would like to be matched with a nearby school or if you are already near one of our Power Lunch sites below, email Julie Katz.

Power Lunch has expanded to five Miami-Dade schools and launched our first Broward site at Park Lakes Elementary in Lauderdale Lakes.

with the Power Lunch program.

much do you spend on your lunch each day? Don't worry, we aren't going
to mug you on the playground. But, we will ask nicely. Please
pack your lunch and donate your lunch money to support Power Lunch.
